19,000 plus showed up in wolves season opener on Monday. It was clear who they came to see. After being drafted in 2009 by Minnesota, Ricky finally made his season debute Monday, wowing the fans with his no look passes. Even in a loss it seemed like Minnesota has found a new hero in town. They love him but should they? It is clear what will happen in the next 5 years in Minnesota. Now I'm not saying I'm Nostradamus but watching basketball this long I'm garanteeing you the following will happen.
Rick wins multiple MVP'S
Ricky will make the wolves a contender in the West.
Ricky will be the heart and soul of Minnesto.
Ricky will decline to sign an extension. Which will start the "Ricky is leaving" rumors.
Ricky will get on national television and announce that he will sign with a another team (most likely a big market city)
Ricky will forever be the guy that abandon Minnesota and will be a villain in that city.
Minnesota didn't you guys learn anything from Cleveland LeBron saga?
